How To Set Up Group Mailing

What is Group Mailing:

• Mass mail to a predefined list of people.
  • Persons can be members of one or more groups.
  • Email names and addresses may loaded directly using administrative back end
  • Sign up via double opt in progress using special form
• Mail always comes from a single email address.
• All mail includes a link to automatically remove a person from the list via web page.
• Templates can be used to customize both acceptance and rejection.

Setup Process:

• Using phpmyadmin add entry to OptinMail:MailList_master table
  • specify if groups are going to be required.
  • email address in domain to be used to process opt-in and opt out requests.
  • domain name of the site (w/o the 'www.')
