This section is intended for site designers.
Overview: The final configuration items are covered in this section.
- Client User Name and Password
- These need to be filled in. If it is desired that the maintainer does not have access to the main site management web page they can log in to the content management and catalog system directly (https://secure2.csz.com/cgi-bin/cNc/login.pl?db=DatabaseName) where the DatabaseName is the site specific name.
- The password can be up to 10 characters long but should not begin with a '!' PWDA's can put a "!" at the beginning of the password field to force all pages to go to an accounting alert page if their client is behind in payments.
- Pay Codes: check any payment type your site will accept.
- State Tax Rate and ShipInfo are used for sites w/o separate Shipping tables or an external site specific shipping cost calculator. If needed:
- State Tax Rate consists of the two letter state code '=' and then the decimal tax, if several states need to have taxes assigned separate them with semicolons (";"). For example "CA=0.0875;NV=0.095" would cause a 8.75% tax applied to shipments going to California and a 9.5% tax applied to shipments going to Nevada. Note: as of this writing Nevada considers that you have a business office in Nevada if you have exhibited at a show during the current quarter.
- ShipInfo similarly consists of a series of max. weight '=' decimal cost pairs separated by semicolons. For example: "1.0=2.5;5=7.0;99999=10.0" would mean that an order weighing 4.2 would be charged $7.00 shipping. Note the '99999' means that orders between 5 and 99999 would be charged $10.0 If you use real time credit card processing you need to set a value which is larger than any conceivable order so that the system is not faced with the case where it cannot calculate a shipping cost. The shipping charges are ''up to" the specified weight. Notice that I didn't say pounds or ounces. The unit of weight just has to be the same units you use when you put in the products. If the shipping charges depend on the total of the order, then the product weights should match the unit cost.
- Check the CC Aux Fld if your credit card processor needs you to record the special 3 or 4 digit code on the visitor's card. If checked the customer must enter it.
- On-line Charge File needs to be filled in by the hosting company after configuring it with the site's real time credit card processing needs. At the time of this writing Authorize Net and Card Service International are easily setup. Contact the hosting company's technical support at 909-920-9154 ext 201 for details.
